Based upon the famous movie, Casablanca, arguably one of the best movies of all time. Starring Humphrey Bogart as Rick and Ingrid Bergman as Ilsa, the setting is Rick’s Place, a Nightclub and Gambling Den.
The movie will be screened in the background throughout the evening. One of the more famous quotes from the movie was “Play it, Sam”. In response to IIsa’s request the pianist played “As Time Goes By”. We will have a pianist playing this and other songs from the movie.
Dancing is encouraged.
The Food: Morocco has always been heavily influenced by France, therefore we have chosen to feature many French dishes in tonight’s menu as well as paired wines and cheeses.

Sole Meunière with Sage Brown Butter and Pumpkin Seed Pesto for the fish course.
The Main Course will feature a Tagine, a unique Cooking and Serving vessel that allows us to prepare a Chicken and Vegetable dish indigenous to Morocco and a Lamb Tagine both
served with Goat Cheese Cous Cous and French Green Beans and Shallots.
Dessert: Individual Tarte Tatin with Caramel Ice Cream
Guests are encouraged to dress in their best Moroccan Outfits, including Fez’s and formal wear. We will award prizes for the best costumes.
