SUMMER CAMP IN THE KITCHEN 2023

Teaching kids how to cook and the love of preparing great food is our primary goal.
Even though some kids have more advanced skills than others,
kids with very little cooking experience will find our program very helpful and lots of fun.

All summer camp classes are hands-on, kids get their own cookbook with the recipes we prepare, and we eat all of the food we create.

NEW THIS YEAR – each camper may invite one guest (Mom or Dad, etc.) to join us for lunch on Friday prepared by the campers.

Classes are designed for kids between 8 and 15 years old.

Kids Summer Camp

Kids Summer Camp in the Kitchen Details

Campers will learn valuable cooking techniques
Prepare the specific theme recipes
Create 5-6 recipes per day
Learn the basics of cutlery
Practice reading and understanding a recipe
Understand the practical art of “mise en place”.
We will cover such topics as baking yeast breads, homemade pastas, tortillas, soups, salads,

ethnic dishes, entrees, lots of veggies and of course desserts!

Every week is different so join us for more than one!

Requirements to attend cooking camp:
Ages 8-15 and an interest in cooking.
No special skills needed. Sign up soon they fill up FAST!

Enrollment limited to a maximum of 20 campers
Summer Camp costs $250.00 per camper per week and includes a recipe book for campers to keep.
KIDS Cooking Camp meets Monday-Friday 9am – Noon
